Export images and SVG
Export writes selected layers to PNG, JPEG or SVG files; Copy as puts them on the clipboard instead. Use it to take artwork out of Moio into another app.
Exporting layers
Where: Properties panel → Export → PNG, JPEG or SVG. The section shows while the selection holds a layer without Use as mask.
- Export is always at 1×. It has no scale, quality or background setting.
- One selected layer downloads as a file named after it. Several download as one ZIP file named after the document, with one file per layer.
- A file holds the selected layer and everything inside it. Layers behind or on top of it are left out.
What each format writes
- PNG and JPEG include the layer's strokes and effects, and children that reach outside a frame unless Clip content cuts them off. PNG keeps transparency; JPEG has none, so transparent areas become white.
- SVG is a vector approximation. Text is written as outlined paths. Image fills are embedded with their crop applied. Hidden layers inside the selected layer, conic gradient fills and Background Blur effects are not written: SVG has no way to blur what lies behind a layer.
Copy as PNG or SVG
Where: right-click → Copy as → Copy as PNG (Ctrl + Shift + C) or Copy as SVG.
Copy as PNG copies the whole selection as one image at 1×; Copy as SVG copies SVG source text. Both are available with View (Who can do what).
