Switching workspaces

If you're part of multiple teams or have separate personal and work spaces, you can switch between them without logging out. Each workspace is independent — its own projects, members, and settings.

Switching workspaces​

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Find the workspace you want in the dropdown
  3. Click its name to switch

Workspaces are grouped by owner, so you can quickly find workspaces you own versus ones you've been invited to.

What you'll see​

Account menu​

The dropdown from your avatar shows:

  • All workspaces you're a member of
  • Settings shortcut for each workspace
  • Logout button

After switching, the sidebar shows:

  • Projects in the current workspace
  • Quick filters: Shared, Recents, Starred, Trash

The top bar shows your current location: Workspace → Project → Folder. Click any part to navigate back.

How Moio remembers your workspace​

When you visit Moio without specifying a workspace:

  • Moio opens your most recently used workspace
  • If you haven't used Moio recently, it opens your first workspace

This happens automatically — you don't need to pick a workspace every time you log in.

Troubleshooting​

I'm in the wrong workspace​

Click your avatar and select the correct workspace from the dropdown.

A workspace is missing from the list​

You only see workspaces you're a member of. Ask the workspace owner to invite you if you need access.

My recents/shared files are different​

Each workspace has its own recents, shared files, and starred items. Switching workspaces changes what you see in these filters.
